笔者最近下乡,和一些老人摆龙门阵,当我问及当今国家主席是谁,他们都说:毛主席。对此,令人愕然。为什么老人们闹出如此笑话,究其原因,用老人自己的话说:“我们长期听不到广播,又买不起电视,看不懂报纸,又没开个会,晓得个啥?”联系到眼下上面会不断,下面断了线,以及一些领导干部不重视宣传思想工作,舍不得宣传投资,笔者深为担忧。因此,不禁大声疾呼:希望各级领导深入到群众中去,把眼光放长远点,条件越差的地方越要去,越要重视这些地方的宣传思想工作。当然,条件好的地方也不能没有宣传思想工作。要舍得必要的投资,花大力气搞好宣传思想工作和阵地建设。

Of course, where conditions are good, we must not fail to promote ideological work. We must make the necessary investments and make great efforts to improve our propaganda and ideological work and the construction of positions.
