不知从什么时候开始,原本在中国新闻摄影界小有名气的山西新闻摄影界渐渐平静了下来。虽然经过这几年以山西日报摄影部为首的党报摄影部门的不懈努力。山西的新闻摄影又有了长足的进步,令圈内人士颇感欣慰;但当我们将目光投向全国,尤其是投向沿海地区同行的时候,面临的事实是:随着信息时代的到来,兄弟省各级党报已纷纷抓住机遇,迅速转变观念,无论是在探索新闻摄影自身的发展规律上,还是在新闻摄影的硬件设施及其传输手段上,都已上了一个台阶;而我们山西由于地处内陆,有的地方观念比较滞后,加之经济不发达,某种程度上制约了新闻摄影的发展。
