It is estimated that by 2025, China’s elderly population will reach 280 million, accounting for 18.46% of the total population; and by 2050 it will increase to 400 million or 1/4 of the total population, making it a highly aging country. How to deal with the harsh challenges of population aging? How to establish an aged care system that is in keeping with China’s national conditions? This is indeed a major social issue before us.
