据香港贸易发展局提供,1999年香港共出口商品13490亿港元,比98年同期上升0.1％:进口商品13927亿港元,比98年同期减少2.5％。1999年香港共转口货物值为11784亿港元,比98年同期上升1.7％;其中纺织品转口857.10亿港元,比98年同期减少45亿港元,跌幅为5.0％;服装转口993.08亿港元,比98年同期增加25亿港元,增长2.6％。1999年12月当月香港转口货物值为1074亿港元,比上年同期上升16.4％;其中纺织品当月转口76.56亿港元,比上年同期上升9.0％;服装转口85.18亿港元,比上年同期下降0.1％。下表为香港转口货物分各种商品情况表
