北疆西北部区域包括克拉玛依市、塔城地区、阿勒泰地区、博尔塔拉蒙古自治州(简称博州,下同)等4个地级单位和新疆生产建设兵团第五师、第七师、第八师、第九师、第十师等5个师,总计26个县级单位。2013年,四地五师总人口359.98万,占全疆人口的15.9%。创造出全疆28.45%的国民生产总值,平均人均GDP为61773元。城市化水平达54.78%,平均人口密度19.58人/平方公里。
The northwestern region of northern Xinjiang includes 4 prefecture-level units such as Karamay City, Tacheng Prefecture, Altay Prefecture and Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture (Bozhou, the same below) and the 5th Division, 7th Division and 7th Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Eight division, the ninth division, the tenth division and other five divisions, a total of 26 county-level units.
