本文论述了鞍山热能研究所研制的铸造成型焦的试验效果,经底焦燃烧和初步生产熔炼试验表明:底焦燃烧时,可达到较冶金焦更高的炉内温度,与镇江铸造焦接近或稍高。熔炼时,在合理的炉型和工艺参数的配合下,当层焦比为1:9~10时,两种成型焦均能获得出铁槽平均为1500℃的高温优质铁水,硅、锰烧损减少,熔炼指标接近或达到镇江铸造焦的水平。为我国开辟了不用或少用焦煤生产铸造焦的新途径。本文还对铸造成型焦的研制提出了看法。
