云岭新四军军部旧址是中国近现代八大革命史迹之一,是全国保存最完整的革命旧址之一。1961年,国务院公布其为首批全国重点文物保护单位。1963年,陈毅元帅亲笔题写了馆名。历经40余年的发展,先后成为全国中小学爱国主义教育示范基地,全国100个爱国主义教育示范基地,2004年荣获中宣部、人事部、民政部、文化部联合授予的“全国爱国主义教育示范基地先进单位”称号。
The site of the military headquarters of the New Fourth Army in Yunling is one of the eight historic sites in modern China and one of the most preserved revolutionary sites in the country. In 1961, the State Council announced it was the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. In 1963, Marshal Chen Yi autographed the name of the museum. After more than 40 years of development, it has successively become the model base of patriotism education for primary and secondary schools throughout the country and the 100 patriotic education demonstration bases throughout the country. In 2004, it won the title of “National Patriotism Education jointly awarded by the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Personnel, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Culture.
