在1985年4～6月全国学生体质、健康调研期间,广东省调查了22个城乡中小学及3所大学共80,990名学生的视力,其中城市学生41,247名,农村学生为39,743名;男生41,410名,女生39.580名。其视力不良率为22.84%为全国学生视力不良率较低省之一。但其视力不良程度以重度较高(轻度占19.21%,中度占28.62%,重度占52.15%),中度和重度占80%以上,值得注意。城市学生视力不良率(33.74%)显著高
