徐复观与牟宗三两先生,为当代港台新儒家的重要代表,他们虽然术业各有专精,但都曾经就先秦儒家思想对天命的看法,提出极为重要的诠释。两先生在诠释古代中国思想中的天命时,都认为古典儒家相信天命是人性来源的思想,都肯定道德是儒学人文精神的特色,因此,他们同样肯定儒家思想的道德人文精神,可说反映了当代港台儒家的基本义理立场。但在古代思想诠释上,他们采取了非常不同的论学取向。特别是这种对超越界的态度,形成牟先生与徐先生论学基本差异所在,而两人的核心差异,正在于世俗人文精神与开放人文主义。
Xu Fuguan and Mou Zongsanliang are the important representatives of the contemporary Hong Kong and Taiwan neo-Confucianism. Although they each have specialization in the field of business, they all have made extremely important interpretations on the view of Heavenly Prehistoric Confucianism. When interpreting the fate of ancient Chinese thought, both Confucians believed that classical Confucianism believed that heavenly destiny was the source of humanity, and both affirmed that morality was the characteristic of Confucianism and humanism. Therefore, they both affirmed the moral and humanistic spirit of Confucianism and reflected that Contemporary Hong Kong, Taiwan and Confucianist Basic Implications Positions. However, in the interpretation of ancient ideas, they adopted a very different theoretical orientation. Especially this kind of attitude toward beyond the world, the formation of the basic differences between Mou and Mr. Xu theory, and the core difference between the two lies in the secular humane spirit and open humanism.
