丽水地区栽培香菇经历了漫长的岁月,从依靠野生孢子发展到人工纯菌丝接种,从段木发展到代料栽培。1986年代料栽培香菇被列入国家星火计划,从而得发迅猛发展。1992年全区生产代料香菇菌棒1.6亿袋,年产值达3亿元。1995年香菇年产值8.1亿元,成为我区一大支柱产业,使一大批农民脱贫致富。目前,我区栽培花菇已达1.2亿袋,比原来常规栽培香菇占地减少四分之三,木材资源消耗降低62.3%,每立方米木材增值5000
