2005年12月22日,广州市公安局正式批准增设两个派出所,分别负责火车站广场和周边汽车站的治安,并将为这两个新派出所共配备280名警力。等两个新派出所正式成立之后,“大流花地区”将拥有“五所二队”,安保总力量将达到1000余人。有关人士表示,此举将改变广州火车站警力不足的状况,大大降低这一区域的刑事发案量。(据 2005年12月23日《南方日报》《新快报》等)
