信访工作是党联系人民群众的桥梁和纽带,历来受到党和政府的高度重视,特别在政府层面,各级政府都有对应的职能部门—信访局。同时信访工作也是高职院校党委和行政工作的重要组成部分,是每年综治工作考核的重要内容之一。它为学校精神文明的建设、和谐平安校园的构建以及师生民情民意的表达发挥了不可替代的作用。但随着我国全面深化改革工作的推进,社会经济生活的加速转型和利益格局的调整,加之现代信息传播途径的多样性,高职院校师生维权意识的增强,使得高职院校信访工作面临严峻形势,出现了许多新情况、新问题。
