洛宁县位于河南省洛阳市西部,由于地理位置特殊,其方言在语音、词汇方面有不同于洛阳市其他地区的特点。汉语中很多词或语素在《说文》、《广韵》等中古字书、韵书以及古代文献中曾出现过,但是在普通话里已经不用了。这些词或语素有一部分保留在洛宁方言中。考求方言本字的工作有助于方言区的人们更好的了解方言与古代汉语的继承关系。
Luoning County is located in the western part of Luoyang City, Henan Province. Due to its special geographical position, its dialect has different characteristics in voice and vocabulary from those in other parts of Luoyang City. Many words or morphemes in Chinese have appeared in ancient Chinese books such as Shuo Wen and Guang Yun, rhyme books and ancient documents, but they have disappeared in Mandarin. Some of these words or morphemes remain in the Luoning dialect. The work of seeking the dialect of this character helps the people in the dialect area to better understand the inheritance relationship between dialect and ancient Chinese.
