Preface The longitudinal bending of high concrete piers is actually a research on the pressure bar problem of axial compression and eccentric stress of concrete high piers. For example, piers for highway and railway bridges, piers for supporting aqueducts in hydraulic structures are all examples of such problems. At present, the calculation of this issue is still worth further study. The purpose of this paper is as follows: (1) According to the experimental data of concrete elastic modulus, the vertical bending coefficient φ table which is different from the current model is produced; (2)
