Fluoride ions can be complexed with lanthanum and alizarin blue ternary complexes. In this paper, the conditions for the determination of high content of fluorine by differential spectrophotometry in the presence of dimethylformamide are studied. The optimum concentration range, temperature and interference of coexisting ions are studied. The analysis error at 640mμ is 0.32%
