本刊美国讯:纽约又一华人粤剧粤曲社团——松英粤剧艺苑近月举行社庆活动。该艺苑乃由赵从斌、丁柳英伉俪创办于1997年,虽然时间尚短,却业务生机勃勃。赵从斌五六十年代曾毕业于广东粤剧学校,接受过七年的粤剧专业训练,能演能唱。在校时还曾跟随击乐前辈罗家树习艺,更得潘苏等名师的指点,故以击乐艺术作第二专业训练。由于赵氏是剧艺表演出身,熟悉粤剧排场和表演功架、程式,又兼懂得击乐音律,常用繁锣紧鼓配合他人演出、演唱,是故自移民美国之后,以其智慧和艺术功力,成为纽约华埠粤剧粤曲艺术表演之佼佼者。
