1946年8月1日,晋绥边区人民隆重举行追悼大会,沉痛悼念不幸病逝的关向应。毛泽东在挽词中写下了8个字:“忠心耿耿,为党为国。”“整整15年,你我同生死、共患难。洪湖、湘鄂西、鄂豫川陕边,酷暑炎天;湘鄂边,湘鄂川黔、云贵川,甘陕、雪山草地,西安平原;踏晋绥、出河北,几万里长途征战,入死出生,无论在战场上、工作中,也不管在茅庐草舍、大厦高堂,我记不出何时不在一起,何时有所分离。
On August 1, 1946, the people in the Jin Sui border area solemnly held a memorial service and mournfully paid tribute to the unfortunate death. Mao Zedong wrote the following eight words in his poem: ”Loyalty to the Party and the Country." For the entire 15 years, you and I live and die in total difficulties. Honghu, Hunan, Hubei, Shaanxi, Summer heat Yan; Hunan and Hubei border, Hunan Echuanqian, Yunnan and Guizhou, Yunnan and Guizhou, Gan and Shan, Snow Mountain grassland, Xi’an Plain; Jin Sui, out of Hebei, tens of thousands of miles long-range campaign, died, both in the battlefield, No matter in the cottage, building hall, I can not remember when not together, when separated.
