本文简述了钒钛磁铁矿高炉冶炼产生泡沫渣的原因,认为主要是钛的低价氧化物和TiC的还原产生大量气体;同时由于钛渣成分复杂,表面张力小,增加了气泡的稳定性。稀释渣中TiO_2及抑TiO_2的还原均能起消泡作用。文中以各种图表资料说明其消泡效果,并浅析了消泡机理。最后对在大高炉上如何做到渣中TiO_2含量超过25%的情况下,仍能继续保持和改善高炉操作指标、增加生铁含钒量的问题作了研讨。认为采用综合炉料结构和坚持炉缸合理喷吹是两条有效手段。
