(一)党的十四大以来,在以江泽民同志为核心的党中央和自治区党委的领导下,西藏的宣传思想工作和精神文明建设取得了前所未有的新进展,出现了整体提高的新局面。西藏的宣传思想工作和精神文明建设既有与全国相一致的普遍任务,又有自己面临的特殊任务。当前做好西藏的宣传思想工作,搞好社会主义精神文明建设,必须认真贯彻执行十五大的精神,紧密联系西藏的实际,认真研究和解决宣传思想工作和精神文明建设面
(1) Since the 14th CPC National Congress, under the leadership of the Party Central Committee and the regional party committees with Comrade Jiang Zemin as the core, the work of propaganda and ideology and the building of spiritual civilization in Tibet have made unprecedented new progress, and a new situation has appeared in overall improvement. The propaganda and ideological work and the building of spiritual civilization in Tibet both have common tasks in line with the entire country and have their own special task. At present, doing a good job in propaganda and ideological work in Tibet and doing a good job in building a socialist spiritual civilization must conscientiously implement the spirit of the 15th Party Congress and in close connection with the reality in Tibet.
