叶挺将军囚居旧址纪念馆,位于恩施市城西郊后山湾154号,背靠梁子山,面临西门河,二0九国道自馆前经过,占地总面积2992平方米,为湖北省第三批文物保护单位。一九八三年至一九八五年,作为老区扶持开发项目,恩施市人民政府筹资二万元,省扶贫开发办共拨款十九万元,在原址按原样修复了叶挺将军囚居旧址,保持了叶挺将军住房、厨房、猪圈和厕所、勤务兵住房、邻居住房原样。并于囚居左侧新建了一幢占地170平方米,两层展厅共330平方米的叶挺将军纪念馆,修建了围墙、道路、阶梯、保坎、平台、栏杆、草坪、纪念碑、将军亭等附属工程,保持了叶挺将军当年培值的茶园——将军茶,进行环境整理、绿化。树立了市级文物保护标志和项目标志,制作了省级文物保护标志、参观平面图、指示牌等。经过近十年的保护建设,这里已成为对
