地膜覆盖在我区是一项新的栽培措施,也是国家重点推广项目之一。它具有操作简便、省工、成本低、增产幅度大以及经济效益高等优点,因此易被广大农户所接受。我盟自1982年开始在六个旗县对甜菜覆膜栽培进行了试验示范、推广和调查工作。实践表明,这是一项增产显著的栽培措施。1983年全盟甜菜覆膜面积2903亩,平均单产8500斤左右,含糖率也有所提高。
