近年来,跨国公司在华的研发投入不断加大,外商投资研发中心的基础型、创新型和本地化的研究机构占比也明显上升,越来越多的跨国公司已将在华设立的研发中心作为其亚太区研发总部,甚至升级为全球技术研发中心。今年3月,商务部新闻发言人姚坚表示,据不完全统计,目前跨国公司在华设立的各类研发中心超过1200家。截至2009年底,商务主管部门批准的独立法人形式的外商投资研发中心共465家,投资总额128亿美元,注册资本74亿美元。鼓励外商投资企业来华开展研发创新活动是中国引导外资投向的重要内容
