各市、县、自治县人民政府,省政府直属各单位:为树立海南经济特区的良好形象,促进我省物质文明和精神文明建设,省委、省政府决定于2001年4月下旬至5月中旬举办第十届海南国际椰子节暨洋浦招商周。现将有关事项通知如下:一、第十届海南国际椰子节要贯彻江泽民同志“三个代表”的重要思想,坚持“让世界了解海南,让海南走向世界”的办节宗旨和“官管民办”的办节模式,以弘扬椰树精神为主题,突出椰子节的国际性,增强人民群众的参与性,力争实现良好的经济效益和社会效益。二、第十届海南国际椰子节主会场设在洋浦,与“洋浦招商周”同时举行,将今年椰子节的主体活动和洋浦的大型招商活动有机地结合起来。
