天津市电线总厂是一个有着40年历史的国有企业,厂区场地狭小,设备陈旧,影响企业的生存和发展。王传军同志任设备处处长以来,以强烈的事业心和责任感,认真工作,努力拼搏,带领全处同志连续10年埋头苦干,一举扭转设备多年失修的状况,全厂设备状况旧貌换新颜,生产能力成倍增长,装备水平显著提高。1994、1998年,王传军两次荣获中国电线电缆行业全国优秀设备工作者称号,1997年获天津市设备管理优秀个人,1995年被批准为“中国机械工业科技专家”。
