苏菲,原名周苏菲,是著名美裔华籍医生马海德的夫人。马海德,美国人,1933年到中国。1936年由宋庆龄介绍来到陕北苏区,1937年加入中共,在延安时担任中共中央保健医生,就此与中国革命结下不解之缘。1949年新中国成立当天,马海德加入中国国籍,曾担任过卫生部顾问,为防治麻风病做出重大贡献。周苏菲1939年到延安,1940年与马海德结婚。新中国成立后,周苏菲作为北京电影制片厂女导演,导演和参与导演了包括《孔雀公主》在内的多部电影,后曾担任中国麻风基金会理事长。本文是讲述周苏菲作为进步女青年投奔延安的经历。
Sophie, formerly known as Zhou Sophie, is the wife of the famous American-Chinese doctor Ma Haide. Maheide, American, 1933 to China. Introduced by Soong Ching Ling in 1936 to the Soviet Union in northern Shaanxi Province, joined the Chinese Communist in 1937, served as the Central Plains Health Practitioners in Yan’an, in this connection with the Chinese revolution. On the day of the founding of New China in 1949, Ma Haide joined Chinese nationality and served as a consultant to the Ministry of Health to make a significant contribution to the prevention and treatment of leprosy. Zhou Sophie went to Yan’an in 1939 and married Ma Haide in 1940. After the founding of New China, Zhou Sufei, a female director of Beijing Film Studio, directed and participated in many films including “Peacock Princess”, and later served as chairman of China Leprosy Foundation. This article is about Zhou Sophie’s progress as a progressive young woman into Yan’an.
