调查研究是做好领导工作的一项基本功,“是做好工作的最根本的方法”。新中国成立后,刘少奇多次深入地进行调查研究,提出了许多符合国情、具有指导意义的理论观点和政策主张。在调查研究时,认真准备、深入思考、精心谋划,是刘少奇的一贯做法。1957年他为解决不断增多的群众事件,专门前往河北等五省进行了一次深入广泛的调研。这次调研,对刘少奇思考如何正确处理人民内部矛盾的问题发挥了重要作用;也鲜明地体现了刘少奇的工作思路和调研方法。
Investigation and research are one of the basic skills for doing a good job in leadership work, and “the most fundamental way to do a good job.” After the founding of New China, Liu Shaoqi conducted in-depth investigations and studies many times and put forward many theoretical opinions and policy proposals that are in line with the national conditions and have guiding significance. When conducting investigations and studies, it is Liu Shaoqi’s consistent practice to carefully prepare, think deeply and plan carefully. In 1957, he went on an extensive and extensive investigation in five other provinces including Hebei to address the ever-increasing mass incidents. This investigation has played an important role in Liu Shaoqi’s thinking on how to correctly handle the contradictions among the people. It also clearly reflects Liu Shaoqi’s work train of thought and research methods.
