Geology is the science of earth. It examines the mysteries of the origin and evolution of the Earth, the internal structure, the composition of matter, and the laws of motion. Geology is one of the oldest and most viable basic disciplines. The major basic theoretical issues of contemporary natural science, such as the evolution of celestial bodies and the solution of the origin of life, can not be separated from the research materials of geology. Geology is also a highly practical discipline closely related to human life. Geology theory guides people to understand the laws of earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides and subsidence so that they can effectively fight natural disasters.
