【Abstract】The cultural turn， started from the end of 1980s， pushed the translation study to a new orientation towards cultural rather than linguistic transfer. With the emphasis on cultural identities and the construction of culture， the target-oriented approach， resulting from this cultural shift， foregrounds the roles of translators in the translation process and the visibility of the translator. In the process of global cultural communication， since the complexity of culture and translation and the rapid expansion of translation market， the importance of professional translator training has become more visible day by day.

1. Translator’s Subjectivity
The subjectivity of translator is the translator’s subjectivity initiative， which has two natures. On the one hand， the translator can make choices and decisions subjectively； on the other hand， the translator， too， is constrained by some other factors， such as the time in which he lives， the literary traditions he tries to reconcile， the features of the language he works with， different cultural and political contexts he meets， etc..
2. Translator’s Training
As translation education grows more comprehensive， prosperous， and diversified， training professional translators has become an essential element of such education programs. This thesis mainly analyzes translator’s training in three parts： curriculum issues， Global trends in technology for TT and Translators in mental health， which all together constitute the minimum requirement of a translator qualification.
3. Translator’s Subjectivity and Translator’s Training for Global Communication
Translator’s subjectivity is an issue of great concern in the field of translation in recent years， and relevant research results are abundant. Postmodernism translation theories reveal the subjectivity of translator， and regard translation as a creative activity. The subject of translation can be distinguished into two senses： broad one and narrow one. Broad translation subject includes the author， translator and readers， and the narrow one is confined to the translator. In the study of the subjectivity of translation， the author mainly analyzes the research of translator-centered multiple themes and the study of the intersubjectivity of author， translator and readers， which broadens the research scope of translation subjectivity. In the process of global cultural communication， since the complexity of culture and translation， the definition of the cultural identity of translator is very complex too in the context of globalization. The cultural identity of the translator will have a relatively comprehensive understanding and correct definition by exploring and analyzing it from multiple levels， multiple angles and multiple perspectives. Translator’s status as cultural exchange and spread messenger requires that translators must coordinate the contacts and relations between the parties， so as to promote intercultural dialogue and communication.
4. Summary
This thesis has detailed analysis the importance of translator’s subjectivity and the related theories， which gives the reader a elaborate impression of the necessity of translator’s training. Then， it also talks about improving translator’s competence in three ways. However， translator is a uncontrolled and flexible subject to some extent， so the training programme can not be demonstrated exhaustively. More researches still need to be done for better translator training， more prosperous translating market and more successful global communication.
