模式识别与智能控制学科是研究利用计算机识别图像、语音和文字信息,包括人工智能和人工神经网络在信息处理和控制中的应用等。主要领域有计算机视觉,图像处理,语音识别与合成,自然语言理解,智能机器人等。它是计算机科学,信息论,控制论以及其他学科互相渗透形成的综合性高技术新学科。自从同济大学1990年被国家学位委员会批准具有“模式识别与智能控制专业”硕士学位授与权,批准该学科负责人博士导师方向改为“模式识别与智能控制”以来,招收和培养
