认识李春平已经十年了。记得是在1996年春天,上海作协决定编辑出版一套反映上海历史巨变中普通人生活的《大上海小说丛书》。当时我在作协任管创作的副秘书长,和秘书长赵长天一起具体负责这项工作。我们从众多的来稿中发现了长篇小说《上海是个滩》,这是唯一一部外地作家的作品,引起了我们极大的兴趣。小说写的是外地人参与浦东开发的奋斗历程,题材新颖,语言活泼,读后留下了深刻的印象。外地作家写外地人在浦东创业的故事,本来就是件很有意思的事情,于是决定采用这部稿子。
It has been 10 years since I met Li Chunping. I remember that in the spring of 1996, Shanghai Writers Association decided to edit and publish a series of “Big Shanghai Novels” that reflect the life of ordinary people in Shanghai’s tremendous historical changes. At that time, I was co-secretary of the Writers’ Association and was responsible for the work with Zhao Changtian, the general secretary. We have found the novel “Shanghai is a Beach” from a large number of contributions. This is the only work by foreign writers and has aroused our great interest. Written by the novel is that foreigners involved in the struggle of Pudong development, theme novel, lively language, left a deep impression after reading. Foreign writers to write stories of foreigners in Pudong venture, was originally a very interesting thing, so decided to use this manuscript.
