膜下滴灌是将覆膜种植与滴灌相结合的新型灌溉技术。它将有压水源通过滴灌管道系统变成细小的水滴在作物根系范围内进行局部节水灌溉;覆膜可大大减少水分蒸发,既有保水效果,同时防止了温室中高湿度引起的病虫为害;滴灌施肥使得化肥作用更直接。建昌县从2009年开始引进试用设施蔬菜膜下滴灌技术,重点进行当地主栽黄瓜和番茄两种蔬菜上的试验示范。结果表明,膜下滴灌技术节省水、电、化肥、农药、劳力的投入,经济和社会效益显著。
