科学教育是什么?简单地说,就是人类为传承与发展科学、提高人类全体成员的科学素养、促进人类可持续发展的教育活动。学校教育的对象是学生,科学教育就是为提高学生的基本科学素养的教育活动。通过科学教育活动使学生热爱科学,相信和尊重科学,了解最基本的科学知识、科学规律并学会按科学规律办事,了解科学的过程和方法,逐步形成科学的态度和观念并据以处理科学与人类生产、生活、社会活动以及未来发展的关系。
