1991年,我市棉花生产遭受了历史上罕见的洪涝灾害,在市委、市政府的领导下,全市干部和棉农奋力抗洪救灾,超常规地加强对灾后棉花的管理,大灾之年,仍夺得了棉花生产的较好收成。全市棉花实收面积6.61万亩,皮棉总产5750t,平均亩产87.0kg。与解放以来我市曾出现过较大洪涝灾害的6年平均产量相比,皮棉总产增加1.19倍,亩产增加1.32倍。比80年代10年平均皮棉亩产增
In 1991, cotton production in our city suffered a rare flood disaster in history. Under the leadership of the municipal party committee and municipal government, the city’s cadres and cotton farmers struggled to fight floods and provide disaster relief. They supervised the management of cotton after the disaster uncontrollably. Got a better crop of cotton production. The city’s cotton area of 6.61 million mu, lint total output 5750t, the average yield 87.0kg. Compared with the 6-year average output of major flood disasters in our city since the liberation, the lint output increased 1.19 times and the mu production increased 1.32 times.
