1996年开展的国家、行业、地方产品质量监督检查的结果表明，我国产品质量在总体上继续保持稳中有升的态势。大中型企业的产品质量好于小型企业，国有企业的产品质量好于其它各类企业。
The results of national, industry, and local product quality supervision and inspection carried out in 1996 showed that the quality of China’s products has generally continued to rise steadily. The product quality of large and medium-sized enterprises is better than that of small enterprises. The quality of products of state-owned enterprises is better than that of other types of enterprises.
