近年来,山西省晋城市委、市政府把解决住房困难问题放在了更加突出的位置,建立完善了配套的住房保障制度,启动实施了经济适用住房、廉租住房、棚户区改造等一系列住房安居工程。经济适用住房是专门为改善城市低收入居民住房条件而修建的具有保障性质的政策性住房,是市委、市政府“五大惠民工程”之一,是省重点工程之一。为了把市委、市政府交给的这项民心工程、惠民工程、德政工程做好、做实,为了确保分配过程的廉洁、公平、公正、透明,真正把房子分配到最需要的群众手中,晋城市公证处作为经济适用住房分配工作的参与部门之一,严格按照《晋城市经济适用住房管理办法》的有关规定,依法办事,依法配售,取得了良好的社会效果。
