The idea of maintaining parasitic worms in the host culture in vitro has long been a fascination for the parasitologist, which can investigate the dynamic aspects of the morphology, development, physiology, mobility, metabolism, and immunity of parasitic worms the study. In vitro culture can also be used to study the so-called ES antigen secreted or excreted from parasites. More profiling host-parasite relationship or host specificity. The authors have tried to in vitro culture of several species of nematode and trematode, and achieved some results. At present, this kind of culture method is being used to study the biology and immunology of worms.
