从2004年到2006年,用3年时间基本解决建设领域拖欠工程款和农民工工资问题,是国务院发出的庄严承诺。据建设部2006年8月的统计数据显示,各地已偿付历史拖欠工程款1770亿元,占全国建筑企业上报的2003年底前竣工项目拖欠总额的95.2%,有15个省(区、市)偿付比例超过95%。但目前仍有少数地区清欠进度滞后,边清边欠问题仍然存在,非建筑领域的欠薪事件也时有发生。春节即将到来,各地一定要做好收尾工作,抓紧春节之前这一段时间,将农民工工资清欠工作进行到底。
