医学科学技术档案是国家档案的一个重要方面,是医学科学研究过程的真实记录和反映,是深入进行科学研究工作的必要条件和依据,是卫生防疫部门科研管理、技术管理的重要组成部分。信阳地区卫生防疫站,前身系潢川专员公署卫生股,辖医务所负责卫生防疫工作,建于一九四九年十月。长期以来,在各项业务工作活动中,形成了大量的医学科学档案资料。科学技术档案事业的发展也和兄弟市、地一样不仅在敬量上有显著的增加,而且在内容上、结构上、门类上都发生了明显的变化,
