11994年,全国新建住宅超过2亿平方米!这是我国改革开放以来全国建住宅最多的一年。不过,对此人们并未表现出怎样的兴奋。因为,无论是政府官员还是普通百姓们部太清楚地知道——没房住的人仍然很多很多。没房住或住房困难的人们的痛苦似乎并未因这“2亿平方米”而减轻多少……
In 11994, more than 200 million square meters of new houses were built nationwide! This is the year when most of the country’s houses have been built since China’s reform and opening up. However, people did not show any kind of excitement. Because neither the government official nor the ordinary people know very well that the people who live there are still many, many people. It seems that the suffering of people who do not have housing or housing difficulties has not been alleviated by this “200 million square meters” ...
