我校一九五一年實行了「學生守則」,一九五二年學習了蘇聯課堂教學以後,課堂紀律狀况比過去有一定改進,但是仍然存在不少問題,目前,課堂上學生說話、玩東西、出怪聲、教師制止也不聽的现象,在初一初二有幾個班比較嚴重。上課時不注意聽講,看課外的東西作其他課作業,眼看窗外,想別的事,不按時完成作業,對教師不尊敬等现象差不多各班都有,只是人数和程度不同。如果從教師方面看,有些一教師不論在哪一班講課,學生課堂紀律都比較好,同學们都注意聽課也有興趣,教師要求的一般都能做到,學生對這些一教師很尊敬。一般的教師在所担任的各班,情况有好有壤,而且在同一個班上也是有時好、有時壞。另有些教師所教各班,課堂紀律一般都有問題,有時甚至亂得不能正常進行講授,教師為此很苦惱。

If from a teacher’s point of view, some teachers are better at class discipline than any class, students’ class discipline is good, students are aware of their interest in listening to classes, and teachers generally demand it. Students respect these teachers very much. Ordinary teachers in all classes, the situation is good and bad, but also in the same class is sometimes good, sometimes bad. Others teach classes, classroom discipline generally have problems, and sometimes chaos can not be properly taught, teachers are distressed.
