随着教育现代化和均衡化的推进,即使是地处偏远的农村地区也感受到了教育改革的春风,加快了教育改革的步伐。但是,由于英语学科本身的特点,加之农村薄弱学校的生源多以留守儿童为主,家庭教育普遍缺失,缺乏有效的引导与监督,从而导致相当比例学生在英语学习方面出现了诸多令当地教育管理部门、教师和家长棘手的问题,如何采取有效策略改进教学质量成了关系到广大农村学子发展前途的关键。以下是笔者对农村薄弱学校英语教学质量改进的一些建议。
