一就我的书法学习与创作历程而言,可大致归纳为三个阶段。一九九○年至一九九五年为启蒙学习阶段;一九九五年至二○○三年为学习与创作阶段;二○○三年至今为职业状态下的研习与创作阶段。我在一九九○年之前的近十五年时间里,大部分的业余时间都是在从事西画的学习与创作,从素描、水彩、水粉一直画到油画。一九九○年,为了画好写意花鸟画我才开始学习书法。那年,已经二十八岁的我做出了自己人生中第一次重大抉择,彻底放弃了自己从事了近十五年的西画学习与创作,拜蜀中书画名家沈作常先生学习
As far as my history of calligraphy learning and writing is concerned, it can be roughly summarized into three stages. From 1990 to 1995, it was the stage of enlightenment learning; from 1995 to 2003, the stage of study and creation; and from 2003 to the present stage of study and creation under occupation status. During the nearly fifteen years prior to 1990, most of my spare time was engaged in the study and creation of western painting. I sketched, watercolor and gouache drawn to oil painting. In 1990, I began to study calligraphy in order to draw the best of flowers and birds. That year, already twenty-eight years old, I made my first major choice in my life, completely abandoning myself engaged in nearly fifteen years of Western painting and writing, thanks to Shu Shenzhong calligraphy and painting master study
