In this paper, we report the results of in vitro experiments on the activity of marine anthrone against Schistosoma mansoni. The activity of Schistosoma mansoni was automatically quantified by electronic changes of the photocell, a “micro-activity cage”, and the rate and type of activity were plotted by computer and compared. When the serotonin (5-HT) in the culture medium is 10 -3 M, the neuromuscular system of the insect is strongly excited. Low concentrations of sea anthrone, 10 ~ (-5) ~ 10 ~ (-6) M, stimulate the activity of insects, concentration greater than 10 ~ (-4) M, the worm activity does not cause change or inhibit its activity.
