在批林批孔运动推动下,去年我国棉花生产的形势大好,总产量超过了历史上最高的水平,各个主要产棉省区的棉花产量都有大幅度的提高。今年年初全国棉花生产会议上,号召在进一步增加产量的同时,还要提高棉花质量,为我国纺织工业提供更多的纤维长、细度细、强力大、成熟度好的优质棉。棉花从现蕾到吐絮,中间不断结出棉铃,不断形成纤维。其纤维质量,除了受内在的遗传因素控制外,还和栽培管理有很大的关系。这样,也就需要对棉纤维的生长发育和结构有一些初步的了解。 Driven by the pro-forest campaign, last year’s cotton production situation in our country was very good with the total output exceeding the highest level in history.
