在北京人民艺术剧院演出的《蔡文姬》里,李淑君伴唱的《胡笳十八拍》,凄婉动人,为演出生色不少。巳经有人建议灌成唱片,供单独欣赏。李淑君是昆曲演员,她唱得好,是理所当然的。可是饰蔡文姬的演员朱琳在台上的一段独唱,也获得了观众的赞赏。有观众感叹地说:话剧演员居然唱得这样好,真不容易。我还以为请李淑君伴唱是因为演员不会呢! 这位观众的感叹使我想起了一个问题。话剧演员不会唱,好像并不使人感到意外,会唱,倒使人惊奇。这说明我们的话剧演员在人们心目中是只会说话的。记得从前曾看过一次《大雷雨》的演出,瓦尔瓦拉以后台送出柔美的女高音“月光明媚的青春的树林,山坡下等着弹琴的人……”
