泡沫浮选是一个广泛用于分离矿物的经济而有效的过程。浮选柱和常规的机械浮选机成功地用于回收 3 0目到几个微米粒度的矿物。可惜的是 ,浮选受到气泡 -颗粒浮力和脱附作用的限制 ,而不适合回收粗粒矿物。通过研制新型借助气泡的浮选水力分选机 ,即HydroFloat分选机可以解决这个难题。HydroFloat分选机集低费用的浮选过程和高处理量重选过程的高选择性和多种实用性于一体。本文叙述了该新工艺的理论基础。列举了它在处理磷酸盐矿石、钾矿石和长石矿石中的应用。
Froth flotation is a cost-effective process that is widely used to separate minerals. Flotation columns and conventional mechanical flotation machines have been successfully used to recover minerals ranging from 30 mesh to several micron sizes. Unfortunately, flotation is limited by bubble-particle buoyancy and desorption, not suitable for the recovery of coarse-grained minerals. This problem can be solved by developing a new bubble-assisted flotation hydraulic separator, the HydroFloat sorter. The HydroFloat Sorter combines the high selectivity and versatility of a low-cost flotation process and high-throughput re-selection process. This article describes the theoretical basis of the new process. It lists its use in dealing with phosphate ore, potash ore and feldspar ore.
