在困扰行业多年的棉花问题已经有了实质性进展之时,化纤行业的原料问题又遇到了瓶颈。近几年来,围绕PX项目的争端此起彼伏,“想说爱你不容易”。这一次进入人们视线的是广东茂名。3月30日,尚处于规划阶段的PX项目引发广东茂名部分市民的群体性聚集事件,一度闹得沸沸扬扬。随后,百度百科词条中关于PX毒性的描述甚至几度被由“低毒”篡改为“剧毒”。而与此同时,据媒体报道,新加坡一家全球最大的PX工厂将在第二季度开始试运行,芳烃类产品产能为150万吨,其中包括80万吨PX,主要供应亚洲市场。值得一提的是,这家工厂的大股东之一是中国的江苏三房巷集团。
