21世纪以来,环境问题日趋严重,在越来越成为人们关注的社会焦点的同时,生态环境史的研究也越来越受到学者们的重视。华中师范大学张全明教授20世纪90年代便有志于中国传统的生态文化与生态环境变迁史方面的学术探索,1999年华中师范大学出版社出版的作者等合著的《中华五千年生态文化》便是对中国传统生态文化与人与自然和谐关系研究的一个有益尝试,该书的出版也为作者从事生态环境史的研究奠定了良好基 Since the 21st century, the environmental problems have become increasingly serious.
