笔者基于对衡阳县部分农村的实证调研结果分析发现:在当前我国社会面临转型的背景下,“教育改变命运”观念的扭曲变味和“读书无用论”的甚嚣尘上、留守问题带来的农村初中生缺乏足够的安全感和心理承受能力过低、农村教育体制与现实要求和学生实际相脱节的现实因素,导致农村初中生教育面临新的困境。有效控制初中生辍学面临新的挑战,思考有效预防和控制辍学的应对措施,以优化农村教育。
