四川电视台新闻部,近两年来,在电视新闻宣传中勤奋耕耘,不断探索,努力拚搏,使新闻改革有了新的突破;报道工作取得了显著成绩。据统计:一九八三年本台《四川新闻》播用新闻片1611条,专题片15条;一九八四年一至十二月本台《四川新闻》播用新闻片2670条,专题30条,创历史最高水平。中央电视台一九八三年播用四川的新闻片197条、专题片9条。新闻播用数从一九八二年全国第六位跃居为全国第一位。一九八四
